A day later and another submission accepted into Vogue Italia with Muse Christa!
I want to share the story behind this shot. I went to a family members home in the country and Christa came along so we could shoot on located throughout the area. My cousin was supposed to set a small fire to get rid of some debris, well he got side tracked and the fire spread, and it started to burn down a chicken coop. All this beautiful smoke was in the air and I looked over at Christa and said go "grab a dress." I ran a grabbed my camera. Moments later we were surrounded by a large amount smoke that added to an already beautiful forest backdrop. I knew these images were going to be amazing but could not have imagined one making it into Vogue Italia.

This session with muse Christa, was simple beautiful no matter how you put it. A beautiful model, the smell of roses throughout the session and warm water go a long way. Laid back comfortably in a pool of water, surrounded by beautiful flowers, Model Christa went to work. Honestly there wasnt much to do but make sure my light worked and my shots were in focus. Christa took care of the rest.

Simple, sexy and messy. Myself and model Kia felt compelled to play in some honey and capture so great imagery in the process. There were so many great shots that came from this session and we were fortunate to have some of them published in the June issue of Ellements Magazine.

What if I told you I use things a little differently than you do... Hell if you have been around and seem my work, then I'm not saying anything new. This wet adventure turned into a publication in IMIRAGEmagazine. Model Jamee Tyara asked for a session that involved the use of a bathtub and I told her, "say no more." Another mess made that was well worth the time and effort on all parts.
I'm happy I was able to give Jamee her first publication, but I don't thinks shes stopping anytime soon.

As a kid I loved playing the streets with my friends but, as an adult the police in Atlanta Police Department don't seem to like how I play these days, lol. I had about 10 mins of actually shooting before they were on location. While the office checked my ID he let me continue to shoot and he basically said just keep it clean. He said someone driving by complained, guess they never got their chance to shine, lol. I appreciated that the officer continued to let us shoot, but that only lasted for 5 mins or so before his boss showed up and said wrap it up. But in those 15 min we were done and later some of those shoot were published in Ellements Magazine.

Our first session together can't be our last, Period. Billie or Billie Jeanz as she's known in the music circle, came by and and took my breathe away. I love working with talent individuals who offer more than just looks. She sings, writes, models and more, but I will let you do a little research for yourself. Her sister, Kimaris who is an amazing Make-Up artist in the Atlanta, GA area did the makeup for this session. Our work together graces the pages of Surreal Magazine. Hell of a team if you ask me and can't wait to create something even better in the near future with them.

Its not everyday that I play with a octopus, but I did this night! Ok using a slimy octopus as a prop for a shoot isn't going to work for everyone but when you have a talented model that's willing to trust you and your ideas, you have to make it work...for everyone's sake. Hana our makeup artist created a beautiful yet simple face to go with the overall look of this wild session. Christa did a great job wiht her poses and the level of engagement is through the room. Collectively this was our first publication in Shuba Magazine as they are pretty new. Hopefully we can grace their pages again soon!

So simple yet so sick! As I was grabbing attire at the store for another shoot, I saw this silver skirt, and I knew I had to create with it. It was the signature piece I wanted to use. I located the top in another store at a different time but I knew I wanted to use them together. I spoke with Muse Christa about the look and feel I wanted to capture and she was ready to go to work. Aj and I have a long lasting relationship and she knows how I like makeup to look for my editorial and she always kills. On the night we created it was no different. This editorial was displayed in Ellements Magaizne.
