From the Tree Line

Jeans and a t-shirt is one of my favorite attires to see a lady in. It's one of the most basic outfits you can wear and still look fly as hell. If your into high-fashion, then jeans and a t-shirt can make a great base to start with, and if your into staying low key, it works well as a finishing line too. Most modeling agencies also photograph their models in this same attire, with little to no make-up so the client knows what to expect before a model even walks through the door.

Ms. Hudson graced me with her presents within the tree line, days before she left Atlanta, GA to finish school in Miami, FL. Fortunately we were able to work together and accomplish some beautiful work, this imagery spread being one of them. Hurry back Ms. Hudson!

Field of Dreams

Or lack there of.........Although I am a huge fan of fashion, glamor, and beauty photography, I believe you have to step outside your comfort zone and try new things then bring back what you have learned to your normal arena. While visiting South Carolina I did just that. It was not about pretty smiles, fancy heals, or blingy things from head to toe. I took a look at an open field and decided to make it my playground (while praying not to get shot on some guys property.) I got Nicole to be my victim for a bit and proceeded to the open field. It was pretty fun considering shes never had a photo shoot before, let alone forced to shoot barefoot, in an all black dress and in an open field crawling with natures finest.

Alone time...

Phone (check), Headphones (check), Phone (check again), Camera (hmmmmm which one James? Mamiya. Which Mamiya James? "The newer one", check) Location....(I will figure it out). Sometime you just gotta go exploring....yeah I will go with that....exploring. Like I use to tell my mother. I guess not much has changed in that area, but that's what I did. With no destination in mind I went a small journey to capture some imagery on medium film. With my perplexing case of ADHD, I wanted to give myself a challenge....CALM the hell down for at least for an hour.

With headphones on and Spotify rocking in my pocket, I hopped out at a train yard and got to it. I briefly looked at the trains and tracks then proceeded to snap away at these massive vehicles which have been around for more then 200 years. Good things seem to last, I hope to fall into that category.

I will the show the images after they are developed, but for now here is a taste.
