Publication in IMIRAGEmagazine
What if I told you I use things a little differently than you do... Hell if you have been around and seem my work, then I'm not saying anything new. This wet adventure turned into a publication in IMIRAGEmagazine. Model Jamee Tyara asked for a session that involved the use of a bathtub and I told her, "say no more." Another mess made that was well worth the time and effort on all parts.
I'm happy I was able to give Jamee her first publication, but I don't thinks shes stopping anytime soon.

As a kid I loved playing the streets with my friends but, as an adult the police in Atlanta Police Department don't seem to like how I play these days, lol. I had about 10 mins of actually shooting before they were on location. While the office checked my ID he let me continue to shoot and he basically said just keep it clean. He said someone driving by complained, guess they never got their chance to shine, lol. I appreciated that the officer continued to let us shoot, but that only lasted for 5 mins or so before his boss showed up and said wrap it up. But in those 15 min we were done and later some of those shoot were published in Ellements Magazine.

Our first session together can't be our last, Period. Billie or Billie Jeanz as she's known in the music circle, came by and and took my breathe away. I love working with talent individuals who offer more than just looks. She sings, writes, models and more, but I will let you do a little research for yourself. Her sister, Kimaris who is an amazing Make-Up artist in the Atlanta, GA area did the makeup for this session. Our work together graces the pages of Surreal Magazine. Hell of a team if you ask me and can't wait to create something even better in the near future with them.

Its not everyday that I play with a octopus, but I did this night! Ok using a slimy octopus as a prop for a shoot isn't going to work for everyone but when you have a talented model that's willing to trust you and your ideas, you have to make it work...for everyone's sake. Hana our makeup artist created a beautiful yet simple face to go with the overall look of this wild session. Christa did a great job wiht her poses and the level of engagement is through the room. Collectively this was our first publication in Shuba Magazine as they are pretty new. Hopefully we can grace their pages again soon!

Update from an earlier post...
So here is the precursor book to the ext series I have started. Bodies and Stone. I wanted to create a book showcasing the first model I captured because I felt the imagery was very strong and will set the tone for anyone else I capture pertaining to the series. Here are a couple images from our session below.

So simple yet so sick! As I was grabbing attire at the store for another shoot, I saw this silver skirt, and I knew I had to create with it. It was the signature piece I wanted to use. I located the top in another store at a different time but I knew I wanted to use them together. I spoke with Muse Christa about the look and feel I wanted to capture and she was ready to go to work. Aj and I have a long lasting relationship and she knows how I like makeup to look for my editorial and she always kills. On the night we created it was no different. This editorial was displayed in Ellements Magaizne.

Nudes on the Mountain - NSFW
I'm all about getting a little dirty. On this adventure, myself Velvet Lanae and Elliott James, (fellow photographers) when to Arabia Mount outside of Atlanta and created some absolutely beautiful artistic nude shots with Model Deyanna. Just the night before we were all apart of an art show, selling our work together, but decided to get out and create new work together. Especially since Elliott was visiting from Mississippi.
Our model has only been at this modeling thing less than 6 months but make it look as though she started years ago. Velvet had worked with her prior to this session but neither Elliott or myself had. We all shoot different styles at time but we came together to assist and collaborate with each other. This was my first time visiting Arabia Mountain, but I wish I had gone earlier. We only spent about 2 hours out here, which is a fair amount of time to shoot, but not to explore all there is to see. I will be going back pretty soon. I have some BTS images below. I will share some of my captures soon.
Raw Artist Art Show
Let me tell you how great it was to be apart of the RAW Artist show. I was honored to be selected to be apart of such a great assortment of artist. The show included designers, photographers, sketcher, painters and more. I got the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow artist and showcase work with others I am already close to. I took this opportunity to display new work that wasn't seen as of yet and sell prints. Some of the individuals I have photographed, came out to support. Huge thank you to everyone that helped to make the art show a huge success.
Publication in Elements Magazine - Oct 2017
One place I love to hang out is at the is at the beach. It's also a place I love to shoot. Christa Lee and I wanted to get out of the city of Atlanta, GA and took a trip over to Jekyll Island, GA. It's a pretty unique place and anyone would love Driftwood Beach, which is where this publication was captured. This particular beach stays packed and quickly drew onlookers, even other photographers. If you visit the area be sure to try to find it! Christa was at home on the beach as I quickly found out. She even called some of her own shots she wanted me to capture.
