Paint me Pink with Hope with Shanedra Lucas

Shanedra Lucas is a huge supporter of Breast Cancer. She was one of the first people to participate in my new long term campaign called "Paint Me Pink with Hope." She was willing to ruin a perfectly good dress to show her support. What are you willing to do to show your support?

On a blazing hot summer day, why not cool off basking in a beautiful body of water? One of my favorite places to shoot is in some form of water. Anyone can use a studio with controlled lighting and air-conditioning, but who is willing to go into a river that’s about 45 degrees? Our model was one of the few that was willing to. She has the ability to make anything look pretty simple. With a background in dance and theater, her posing, poise and presence is impeccable. Allen, our Make-Up artist did a phenomenal job insuring the makeup was natural and blended well, considering she posed topless. This lineup of imagery, showcasing our model was published in Uncovered Magazine. The first time I saw their magazine, I knew I had to get in there. (Challenge Accepted) The work they select for their magazine and site is beautiful, tasteful, and timeless. Well we did it and I have all intentions of doing it again. #dontstop

Behind the Scenes

Published in Pump Magazine

Ms. Jean-Baptiste nailed it. Seriously, nailed it. I'm happy I was able to get her published into Pump Magazine which happens to be her first magazine publication. I'm sure she had no clue she would later be able to purchase a magazine with her beautiful face in print. I was determine to get this editorial published. In all reality, I didn't have to do to much work. The teams collective work spoke for itself. I was even greeted with a very pleasant email explaining their desire to publish them. This shoot started around 2am, after we had just finished another shoot in downtown Atlanta. Long hours and hard work never fail. Let's see what we can acomplish next! #dontstop

KISS (Keep It Simple)

It was a last minute shoot that left a lasting impression. Auriana came ready and in no time we were done. Our goal was simple...lets keep it.....simple. She still had a full night ahead of her so I had to pull it all together in less than a hours notice. Fortunately we were on the same page and made everything work out for the best!

High fives, good drinks, memory cards and cameras!

We hit one of the most unique spots in Atlanta. Apache Cafe! Myself and several other photographers, models, painters, sketchers and the like met up for a classic night of artistry. Just in case you aren't aware I can't draw.....at all......so I stuck with the camera, lenses and lighting. I had the pleasure of working with Kelli Rea hopefully we can bring more to the table in the near future. I will share some other awesome images and models from this night soon.
